Pair of UNBC alumni take home some hardware

The Alumni Association of UNBC has honoured two of its graduates with some hardware.

Alumni Relations Officer, Kirk Walker says both graduates were recognized in separate categories.

“For Professional Excellence, Gina Layte Liston graduated in 1999 with a Masters of Science and is now the Director of Public Works for the City of Prince George while Sarah Foot takes the award for Community Service.”

Walker couldn’t be more pleased to with the selection of both candidates.

“Gina and Sarah exemplify many of our graduates and it was a real challenge to limit the number of candidates and to bring these accomplishments to them.”

Foot graduated with her BSC in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2007.

Both will be recognized during a ceremony on May 26th.

The university also recognized Tim Swanky as an honorary member.

22 members have been named to the association since its inception in 1997.
