Strong support for Madison Scott at 5th Poker Ride

It was five years ago – May 28th, 2011 – that Madison Scott went missing during a camping trip at Hogsback Lake, and the community hasn’t forgotten.

Saturday was the 5th annual Poker Ride in Madison’s honour. Supporters walked, drove an ATV, or rode their horses along three separate trails to show their support.

Monica Loper has been a part of the event for five years. She’s seen many familiar faces, as well as newcomers, and says it’s important the community keeps Maddy in mind.

“Just keep the word out, even with posters or just talking to people. We’ll keep the information flowing.”

The RCMP are still investigating and ask that you contact them or Crimestoppers if you know anything.

The event ran from 10 AM – 2 PM. The top poker player won $500.
