The 11th head coach in Prince George Cougars history will be unveiled to the public on Thursday.
General Manager, Todd Harkins says he received 80 resumes for the job and believes the perception about the team and city is starting to change.
“Every person was excited to come to Prince George and move their family up here. In the past, I think it was a bit of a hindrance for people in the coaching position to come here because of the location.”
The team and Mark Hollik mutually parted ways in April after getting swept by the Seattle Thunderbirds in the playoffs.
The announcement will be made at 12 noon from the Kin 1 Atrium at CN Centre.
