On Friday, Prince George will host a one hour Art Hawkins Ultimate Frisbee Charity Game.
It takes place from 7-8 PM from Heritage Field across from Rainbow Park and Organizer Greg Jonuk believes this is a one of a kind event.
“Nobody plays at the same time, everyone plays in a sequence. I have not heard of anything like this happening in other sports so it’s an interesting way to involve the whole country in a single latch.”
The charity game has been running since 2010.
17 people took part in last year’s game with the hope of getting 20 out this year.
The 2015 Art Hawkins Game was one of the most successful lasting 34 hours and raising $9,000 for the Art Hawkins Development Fund.
It’s a continuous game where every hour players from different cities pick up where the last city left off.
