The Prince George Cougars and Spirit of North have teamed up to bring the Spirit of Healthy Kids program.
Cougar players will be speaking to kids within School District 57 on the advantages of healthy living, good choices, and active lifestyles.
CEO, Judy Neiser believes it was a slam dunk for them to partner up with the hockey club. “We felt it was a win-win getting into the homes of four thousand students was a great message from the Cougars about healthy living and active lifestyles.”
The new initiative is an expansion of both organizations strong partnership from the Cougars Alumni Golf Tournament.
