The Prince George responded to a motor vehicle crash just after 7:30 AM at the intersection of Highway 16 and Gauthier Road on Friday.
A 64-year old man who was riding a tri-cycle with an electronic assist attempted to cross against a red light when he was struck by a pick-up truck.
The man was transported to University Hospital where he later died of his injuries.
Prince George Traffic Services are investigating the matter.
