All civic fields in Prince George have been closed by the City due to public safety and the possibility of turf damage.
Parks staff have inspected the condition of the sports fields and made the decision after the recent rainfall resulted in soaked turf and areas of standing water.
Fields will be inspected once again by City staff on Friday to determine whether they will be available for public use.
