Mother nature may rear it’s ugly head again in Prince George.
15-20 millimetres of rain could fall later today after a Severe Thunderstorm watch was issued by Environment Canada.
Matt Mcdonald at the Weather Office believes the current conditions might stick around for a while.
“The watch is going to be in effect through the evening hours because the instability is going to hang around for at least another 48 hours.”
Mcdonald says you should head indoors if you hear thunder.
Lightning is the leading cause of weather-related deaths in Canada.
The current conditions are favourable for heavy winds, torrential rains and hail.
