The historic downtown walking tours have gotten underway again in Prince George.
The public library is hosting the tours with a guide, highlighting features and buildings with stories from the early days of the city.
Spokeswoman Andrea Palmer says they will also be showcasing future buildings.
“This year for the first year we will be including a look forward as well. There’s certainly so much building in the downtown core, including future plans. So there will be some inclusion of the Canada Games House, the Wood Innovation Centre, and certainly a discussion of the Civic Centre Plaza, as it will shortly be undergoing great changes as well.”
Palmer says the tours run every Tuesday and Thursday this summer at 11am.
The tours are free and you can find out more information on their website.
