PG youth ready to “Touch a Truck”

The Prince George Public Library will be ending the summer in style with their Touch a Truck event.

Children’s Librarian, Heather Gloster says children of all ages will have the chance to interact with a bunch of different groups.

“We are going to have things like the ambulance they can talk to paramedics go to the back of the vehicle, we’ll have a Zamboni, skid steer and the Prince George Cougars are bringing their bus for their hockey players plus a crane.”

Gloster can’t appreciate enough the time and effort made by the participants.

“It’s really amazing because all the people that bring their vehicles all donate their time so it costs the library very little to put it on, we are very fortunate.”

The event runs from 1 to 3 PM on Friday from the Canada Games Plaza.
