A pair of goals from Tofa Fakunle led the UNBC Timberwolves to a 3-2 victory over the Thompson Rivers Wolfpack in men’s soccer on Saturday.
Fakunle potted his first in the 12th minute capping off a Francesco Bartolillo feed for a 1-0 lead.
UNBC would find themselves up a deuce on the road thanks to Fakunle’s second of the half off a penalty kick in the 32nd minute.
After going into the break up two Bartolillo would extend the advantage in the 70th minute for the T-Wolves.
Ryan Glanville rippled the mesh twice for the Wolfpack in the 74th and 89th minute to close the gap to 3-2.
UNBC improves to 1-4 on the season while Thompson Rivers also drops to 1-4.
Both teams play again on Sunday in Kamloops.
