It was the Courtney Hemmerling show for the UBCO Heat in Canada West women’s soccer as they dumped the UNBC Timberwolves 3-0.
Hemmerling notched her 2nd of the season just 11 minutes in from the far right corner past Lianna Toopitsin for an early 1-0 lead.
UBCO would jump on the T-Wolves once more before the end of the 1st half courtesy of Maya Bandy.
UNBC allowed Hemmerling to pot her second of the game in 79th minute to salt away the victory for the Heat.
The Timberwolves drop to 0-3 an travel to Kamloops on Sunday for a date with TRU at 1PM.
UBCO improves to 2-1.
UNBC was outshot 14-6.
