BC Transit seeking input on proposed transit improvements for Prince George

Back in July, the City of Prince George approved 2,500 hours of expanded transit service for the city.

This month, the City and BC Transit are looking for public feedback on the best ways to implement that expanded service. Proposed changes include increased Sunday bus service, improved transit connections and more service on busy routes. A new and improved Riders’ Guide is also being considered.

Throughout the month, BC Transit and City staff will be appearing at transit exchanges throughout Prince George to get transit users’ thoughts. They will also be participating in Talktober events.

If you’d prefer, you can fill out an online survey instead. The survey will be open until November 2.

This round of public consultation will build on previous feedback from 2014 and be used to help implement transit improvements in 2017. You can find more information on the Prince George Transit Future webpage.
