Pandas make short work of Timberwolves

The offensive woes for the UNBC Timberwolves women’s soccer team continued on Saturday after dropping a 3-0 decision to the Alberta Pandas.

It took just two minutes for Alberta to hit the board as Aly Parth scored unassisted to make it 1-0 for the visitors.

Sydney Daines added another for the Pandas in the 19th minute giving Alberta a 2-0 advantage at half-time.

The icing was put on the cake in the 76th minute when Karissa McNutt notched her 3rd of the campaign from 22 yeards out past T-Wolves goalkeeper Lianna Toopitsin.

Both teams play again at noon on Sunday from the NCSSL fields in Prince George.

Shots on goal were 9-4 for Alberta.

UNBC drops to 0-9 on the season.
