The Thompson-Okanagan Lakers made it 2 in a row on Sunday over the Northern Capitals on Sunday coming away with a 2-1 victory from Kin 1.
Chanreet Bassi opened the scoring for the visitors at 6:41 lifting home an Elizabeth Klimm feed to make it 1-0.
It didn’t take long for the Capitals to respond when Caily Mellott evened the score at exactly the half-way point tying the game at 1-1 after 20 minutes.
Ashlyn Sunderman potted the game-winner at the 3:56 of the third period to put the Lakers up for good.
Olivia Davis took the loss in goal for the Capitals.
The Northern Capitals drop to 4-2 on the season and head to Coquitlam next weekend to play the Vancouver Comets on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
