November is in full swing and ICBC would like to remind drivers from Northern BC the hazards they may encounter this winter.
Spokesperson, Doug Macdonald says the unsettled weather patterns can give motorists a false sense of security.
“It’s something this time of year when we have those changes going from being cool to warmer you kind of fall into the lull sometimes of thinking the fact it’s still going to be warm enough out there with our cars and we have to make sure there are a few things we can do to make sure we are safe on the roads.”
Some tips include scraping off your windshield, using your headlights and clearing off all the snow on your vehicle.
For the entire month, police across BC will be targeting drivers going at unsafe speeds.
