A competition is brewing to see who can grow the best mustache between Kamloops Mayor Perter Milobar and Prince George Mayor Lyn Hall.
Halls says a little extra is on the line between the two mayors. “The loser has to wear the other teams WHL home jersey to a home game or council meeting so that’s quite an incentive for us to win this.”
Hall also explains how it all came about. “I received a letter from Mayor Milobar and his council unanimously endorsing the challenge so they sent me a letter asking if I would be up to this and I quickly agreed.”
Proceeds will support initiatives dealing with prostate cancer which is the second-most common cause of cancer in men worldwide.
