A showcase for BC’s in-demand jobs is coming to Valemount and McBride on Tuesday hosted by WorkBC.
Find Your Fit will give young people in both communities an opportunity to learn the skills they need for trending occupations.
It will take place at Valemount Secondary school.
Participants will also get to know career planning tools – such as Blueprint Builder and Career Trek
videos – and the job resources and labour market information from WorkBC.ca
Parents, teachers and career counsellors can also find ways to educate and support youth in their career
exploration.
The Find Your Fit event will be open to the public from 3:15 p.m. – 7 p.m.
