Midget Cougars to host Breast Cancer Awareness game

The Cariboo Cougars game on Saturday will have a little extra meaning.

The midget hockey club has partnered with the Taba Group hosting Breast Cancer Awareness Night when they take on the Vancouver NW Giants.

Puck drop is slated for 3:45 and will feature a presentation and ceremonial puck drop.

Cariboo will wear pink jerseys in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

A Chuck A Puck contest will take place during the 2nd intermission with the winner taking home a brand new hockey stick.

During the 2015 Breast Cancer Awareness game, the Taba Group raised $2300 to support awareness and research.
