Prince George Spruce Kings forward Kyle Johnson has been named to Team Canada West for the World Junior A Challenge.
The 18-year old is one of 11 BCHL players to be selected to the roster.
In 29 games this season, Johnson has recorded 7 goals and 14 assists and has committed to Yale University for the 2018-19 season.
The Junior A challenge takes place from December 11-17 from Bonnyville, Alberta and will be coached by Coquitlam Express bench boss Barry Wolff.
Team Canada West’s first game will be on Sunday against Switzerland.
