A 33-year old man from Dawson Creek and a 32-year old woman from Spruce Grove, Alberta are in custody for their involvement in a counterfeiting ring.
At 2 am on Tuesday, a police officer was notified by a store clerk on 20th Avenue after a woman passed fake American currency to the business and fled in a distinctive vehicle.
It was located a short time later with Alberta license plates at a 15th Avenue store.
Both suspects were found in the car and arrested without incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Prince George RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
