Prince George finished 3rd at the BC Midget B Lacrosse Championship in Campbell River following a 5-0 victory over the Lower Mainland in the bronze medal game. The P.G. team ended up with an overall 3-2 record. Meanwhile,
Prince George compiled a 1-2 record at the Provincial Peewee B Lacrosse Championship in Richmond.

–The Prince George Senior Lacrosse Association has handed out its awards for the 2014 season:

League MVP – Mat Rochon, Cowboy Ranch Stylers
Most Improved – Liam Miller, BX Pub Bandits
Top Defenceman – Scott Anderson, Westwood Pub Devils
Top Goalie – Jamie Bellamy, Westwood Pub Devils
Top Goal Scorer – Cameron Braun, Westwood Pub Devils

The first-team All-stars are: Scott Anderson (Devils), Kyle Adams (Devils), Mat Rochon (Stylers), Jamie Bellamy (Devils), Cameron Braun (Devils) and Danton Nicholson (Devils).

Second-team All-stars are: Drew Doig (Bandits), Ryan Waddington (Bandits), Liam Miller (Bandits), Brent McIsaac (Devils), Sobnik Manhos (Devils) and Craig Dunfield (Assault).

Prince George will host the Treasure Cove Invitational Senior C menʼs lacrosse tournament and B.C. championship August 15-17 at Kin 1 with teams from B.C. and Alberta.

–The Prince George Total Tops Midget Knights compete at the Provincial U-18 Midget Double “A” Baseball Championship in Mission. 10 teams are entered with play to begin Thursday.
