Expect to see a Blizzard today in Prince George

There’s going to be a flurry of Blizzards today…Dairy Queen Blizzards that is. Its Miracle Treat Day at both Dairy Queen locations in the city where residents can purchase the goody with money going towards a good cause. Owner Gary Allen says money raised will go towards the Children’s Miracle Network.

“Which is BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver,” says Allen, “so its quite an exciting day for us all the Blizzards that we make and sell the money goes to a good cause to help BC kids.”

Allen says on average both DQs in PG sell raise $6,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network. He says they will be selling Blizzards all day.

RCMP looking to identify suspects in repeated vandalism investigation

The Prince George RCMP are looking to identify suspects in an investigation into repeated vandalism at a residence on the 100-block of McQueen Crescent. According to police, the initial investigation began in late May, when unidentified suspects threw a rock through the front window of the home, and spray painted the front with orange spray paint.
