Cloud cover to dominate Canada Day forecast in the Prince George area

Environment Canada has issued its Canada Day forecast in the Prince George area.

The rain should stay away says Greg Pearce from the weather office. “So we’re expecting mainly cloudy conditions and as far as precipitation goes it looks like we will remain dry for Canada Day.”

The predicted high is 24 degrees Celsius.

If you’re traveling during the long weekend into the Smithers area you not might get so lucky.

“We’re expecting some mainly cloudy conditions during the morning hours tomorrow and if that front starts to push in we may see a few sprinkles a few light showers,” says Pearce.

For Sunday and Monday, daily highs of 21 and 20 degrees are anticipated with showers and sunshine in the forecast for Prince George.
