Live music and a high volume of food vendors will dominate the Prince George Farmers’ Market this Canada Day.
It takes place right behind the Keg from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Market Manager Andrew Ford is looking forward to Saturday.
“A few extra vendors are coming out just for this weekend, which can be really exciting and we’ve also booked some extra space for some tables and chairs and activities set up in the field. It’s not a monumental growth where it gets 200 times bigger, it’s a nice big market and should be really exciting this weekend.”
It should be a good time Ford says. “We’re going to have a whole bunch of our regular and some new vendors that are showing up the first time, everything from local organic fruits and vegetables to produce fruits from the Okanagan.”
The live entertainment is scheduled to run from 11 am to 3:30 pm.
