Cougars send six pack(ing)

The Prince George Cougars reduced their pre-season roster to 34 by returning six players to their respective Midget and High School teams. They are:

  • Cole Beamin (01) – Saskatoon Contacts (SMAAAHL)
  • Brendan Boyle (01) – Okanagan Rockets (BCMML)
  • Keegan Craik (01) – Delta Hockey Academy (CSSHL)
  • Mitch Kohner (02) – Lakeville North High School (USHS)
  • Boston Maxwell (02) – Saskatoon Contacts (SMAAAHL)
  • Tyson Phare (02) – Yale Hockey Academy (CSSHL)

The Cougars have four goalies, 10 defencemen and 20 forwards (including five players at NHL camps) as they gear up to host the Kamloops Blazers Friday in their final pre-season home game.

Their regular season opener will be held on Friday, September 22nd when they entertain the Spokane Chiefs in the first of a double-header at CN Centre,
