After shutting down the Portland Winterhawks, Tavin Grant of the Prince George Cougars was rewarded by being named WHL Goaltender of the Week.
The 6-foot-2 Burnaby product stopped all 47 shots he faced for his first career WHL shutout in the Cougars 3-0 victory at Portland.
The 19-year-old is 1-1 in two games this season with a 0.949 save-percentage (SV%) and a 2.03 goals-against-average (GAA).
The 1-3 Cougars wrap up a three-game road trip Wednesday in Kamloops.
