Dillon Dube notched a goal and three assists for the second straight game and rookie goalie James Porter made 42 saves to lead the Kelowna Rockets to a 4-3 overtime victory over the Prince George Cougars.
Dube showed why he is a 2016 second round pick of the Calgary Flames and a member of Canada’s world junior team.
The 19-year-old centre from Cochrane, Alberta set up Konrad Belcourt’s first WHL goal with 1:38 left in the third and then tallied the winner at 4:17 of overtime.

Dube, who has world class speed and is terrific with the puck, racked up eight points in the doubleheader sweep.
Kelowna won Friday’s game 7-6 in overtime.
Saturday night before 2,839 fans at the CN Centre, the Cougars trailed 2-0 after two periods before scoring three straight times to grab a 3-2 lead.
Dennis Cholowski notched a goal and an assist for the Cats, who have earned at least a point in each of their last four games, but are winless in their four home games this season.

Brogan O’Brien (shorthanded) and Jackson Leppard also tallied for the Cougars who outshot the Rockets 45-23, including 25-5 in the middle period.
The 17-year-old Porter was spectacular for most of the game in his first WHL start.
Tavin Grant made his fourth straight start in the PG net.
Both teams went one-for-five on the power play.
The Cougars held a wide territorial advantage and played much better on the fore-check and defensively compared to the previous night, although they got the same result of earning one point for the OT loss.
“I’m very pleased with our team’s effort and have no complaints,” said Cougars coach Richard Matvichuk on 94.3 the GOAT’s post-game show.
He added his young team will win a lot of hockey games this season if they continue to play aggressively and stick to the system.
The 2-3-2 Cougars continue a five-game home stand Tuesday against the Calgary Hitmen.
