Prince George will be hosting its annual run for the cure fundraising event.

All the proceeds go towards the fight against breast cancer, and promotions volunteer Shari Maclellan says there is a new starting location for 2014:

“..and of course on Sunday October the 5th, we will have the Run for the cure at the Prince George City Hall which is a new location for 2014, with the opening ceremonies beginning at 9:30 am.”

McLellan says nearly 80 thousand dollars has already been raised, and to donate just head to www.CIBCrunforthecure.com.
