Pine Centre Mall Saw Heavy Traffic For The Holiday Season

People in Prince George weren’t scared to break the bank over the holiday season.

The Pine Centre Mall saw a flood of people in 2017 compared to the previous year.

“Sales were really good, they were very busy during this holiday season.” Explains Marketing Director Jessica Brown. “Traffic was great throughout the mall and we actually had a record setting amount of Santa photos go through. So it was a very successful Christmas season for us here.”

Online shopping is also helping people pin point exactly what they want to buy.

“With online shopping it means that you have less people coming and just looking around, they know exactly what they want and they come in and buy it, So it means you get people to come in and buy right away and then they’re gone.”

Brown added the mall also brought in some new brands and changed up their advertising strategy which could have played a part in heavier traffic.
