$250,000 in estimated damage!
That’s the result of a fire Tuesday night to a single family home in early renovation stages in the 3300 block of 1st Avenue near Highway 97.
Around 7PM, Prince George fire crews responded to the incident, sending 17 fighters from three different halls.
They attempted to provide a full attack on the blaze, but due to fire conditions that spread throughout the home rapidly, crews were forced to get out.
The incident resulted in the near destruction of the home once the flames were extinguished.
No one was home during the time of the fire, no injuries to personnel were reported, and the cause is still being investigated.
