BC’s Poverty Reduction Strategy meets in Prince George

Prince George has voiced its opinions on how the BC government should reduce poverty.

The Poverty Reduction Strategy meeting saw dozens speak to solutions on how people can make ends meet.

“The changes that took place in providing home support to people, such that it’s quite limited in terms of what’s available so people can stay in their own homes. There’s concerns addressed about that.”

Other issues discussed at the Prince George Native Friendship Centre included income, transportation, and education.
