Another February snowstorm will keep Prince George snow and ice crews busy for a while

Another February snowstorm will keep Prince George snow and ice crews busy for a while.

The city surpassed its 75 millimetre threshold within 24 hours to being full snow removal operations.

“It may be not what most people were expecting or wanting at this time of the year, what is going to happen is crews will be in full operation along with contracted crews and equipment and we’ll be under full operation all through the weekend,” says Mike Kellett, Spokesperson.

Under the city’s snow removal bylaw, crews will clear all priority one and two routes within 48 hours of the conclusion of the snowfall.
