Our Lady Peace, Matthew Good concert in Prince George pushed to Thursday

Fans of Canadian music artists Our Lady Peace and Matthew Good will have to wait another night.

Both bands were scheduled to play tonight at the CN Centre in Prince George but is been postponed after Good collapsed on stage during a recent performance in Edmonton.

CN Centre Manager Glen Mikkelsen provided the comment on the concert.

“Thankfully, we have a day available tomorrow to work with the tour and the show has been postponed until Thursday to allow Matthew Good a chance to rest and recover and hopefully come and play in Prince George tomorrow night.”

Good was battling pneumonia and the length and pace of the tour may have contributed to the health scare.

“They started in Newfoundland and have been coming across the country, I don’t know how long he has been dealing with this illness and obviously he has suffered through it and has kept performing. We’re thankful we can try and make this work for tomorrow night.”

Any tickets bought for tonight will be honoured for Thursday’s show.

If you can no longer attend the show, Mikkelsen advises you to be in touch with TicketsNorth at the CN Centre Box office.
