A Prince George cyclist pedaled her way onto the national podium this past weekend.
Callie Swan captured the silver medal in the Women’s Under-23 Road Race at the 2018 Canadian National Road Cycling Championships in Saguenay, Quebec.
The 20-year-old finished with a time of 3:36, finishing 16 seconds out of a gold-medal position.
Swan also finished the National competition ranked 14th overall.
Since the start of May, she’s competed in six events, finishing 1st twice and 2nd three times.
Swan is scheduled to race in the BC Superweek, a 10-day event consisting of nine road races in the Lower Mainland.
