City Council Preview: July 30th, 2018

Monday’s regular council meeting will feature a conversation on the new Masich Place Stadium. The current estimate is to have it open by August 7th with operating hours between 6am and 1pm for the public. These public times have already been extended thanks in part to a petition from earlier this month.

Two delegations are on tap Monday. The Prince George Cycling Club will present an annual report including statistics and information from the 2018 Bike to Work and School Week from May 28 to June 3. Also, the Mennonite Central Committee will provide an update for the McIntyre community with a couple qualitative statements.

A multi-family housing incentive is recommended to have Council give first, second, and third readings. It has already created 209 housing units (constructed and under construction) and 145 accessible housing units (constructed and under construction) to date.

Council will begin at 6:00pm from the Council Chambers.
