City still looking for artists to create downtown mural

Prince George artists have until tomorrow (Thursday) for a chance at leaving their mark on the Ramada Plaza Parkade.

The City is still looking for local artists to submit a design for a painting that will be put on the alcove walls of the parking lot located on 5th Avenue and Queensway Street.

The space available is roughly five metres by 13 metres per side and the mural can be one continuous piece or a series of smaller cutouts.

The project is sponsored by the BC Northern Real Estate Board as a gift to the city to mark their 50th anniversary.

The winner of the bid will receive $8,000 to be used for fees and costs and the winner will be selected in September.

Those interested can find more details here.
