ORIGINAL STORY:

Expect some early Labour Day weekend traffic delays this morning if you’re heading out of Prince George to the Lower Mainland.

According to Drive BC, reports of another mudslide took place late Wednesday night in the South Cariboo, forcing a closure in both directions between Cache Creek and Clinton.

The incident took place between Stage Road and Kelly Lake Road, 21 kilometres north of the 97 junction with Highway 1.

Crews are working to clear some of the debris as quickly as they can with an estimated time of fully re-opening by Noon today.
