Volunteers needed for Annual Celebration of Lights Display

The Prince George Railway and Forestry Museum is looking for volunteers.

They need assistance with the Annual Celebration of Lights, which has drawn tremendous interest in years past.

Executive Director Ranjit Gill says they need help getting it all set up and laid out:

“So if you can appreciate, it’s taken city crews weeks and weeks to set up all these lights and there’s only three of us here at the museum and we only have a few days. So we’re looking for as many people as possible to come out and help on Saturday, or Friday – just make sure you bundle up warm – and we’ll have hot chocolate waiting for you”

Gill says typically there are around 20,000 breathtaking lights being put up, and as she mentioned they need as many volunteers as they can to help set up the Christmas Display.

For more information and to help out, just visit the Railway Museum at 850 River Road.
