‘Red’ gets ‘Green’ light to host show in Prince George

Canada’s go-to handyman will be imparting wisdom (and jokes) in Prince George next year.

Steve Smith, famously known for his alter ego as Red Green on his self-titled show, is touring across the country in 2019, stopping in the Northern capital for a one-man performance on September 20th.

This is the second leg of the ‘This Could Be It’ Tour, which has been extended into Canada after a stint south of the border.

The Red Green Show aired from 1991 to 2006, winning one Gemini Award (Best Performance in a Comedy Program or Series) out of 23 total nominations.

Smith has been to Prince George a handful of times, and Vanier Hall is set to host next year’s ‘lodge meeting.’
