Fire crews report suspicious fire

Prince George Fire Rescue crews from two halls responded to a reported outbuilding on fire Wednesday night.

At about 5:50pm, crews arrived at the older wooden-sided garage (16’x20′) on the 1100 block of 20th Avenue.

Smoke was coming from the exterior ground level and crews extinguished the blaze.

The building was not occupied and no injuries were reported.

Dollar loss is estimated at $2,000.

RCMP took over the scene and it is being treated as a suspicious fire.
