False alarm at PG Airport

UPDATE:

What was originally thought to be a fire on an incoming plane has been deemed a false alarm.

“The aircraft landed safely, all 20 passengers were evacuated with no injuries. It was deemed to be a mechanical issue and an issue with a sensor on the plane. No actual fire on board,” explained Staff Sergeant Todd Cruch.

“It was more of a non-event at the end of the day.”

The Central Mountain Air aircraft had to declare an emergency landing as a result.
