UNBC 2nd in Canada for undergrad studies

Macleans magazine has declared the University of Northern BC as the second best place in the country for undergraduate studies.

UNBC president Daniel Weeks says he is thrilled with the result;

“It’s an absolute thrill and I’m so glad to be here. I think its big win for all the students and faculty at not only here in Prince George but our regional campuses as well. It’s really kudos to them for doing such a great job.”

Last year, the university finished 3rd in the undergraduate category. Improvements to the library were cited as one of the things that pushed UNBC higher this year.

1st place went to Mount Alison University in Sackville New Brunswick.
