General Manager Mark Lamb immediately spoke with Hartley following the WHL Trade Deadline today (Thursday).

Lamb discusses why PG didn’t make a move, how he looks at the Cougars going into the second half of the season, his thoughts on Head Coach Richard Matvichuk who is in the last year of his contract, and what steps need to be taken to get a winning franchise.

He has served as the colour commentator for Prince George Cougars home games for 12 seasons. Hartley has been a fixture on the airwaves since 1979. He is the author of You Don’t Say, a collection of his most memorable sports quotes. Hartley is married with two children and four grandchildren.
