Local artists invited to to share their art for downtown

Tourism Prince George and Two Rivers Gallery are calling for artists to submit their work for the Colour the Cor mural downtown.

New mural to be unveiled in Downtown PG

The installation features a burst of Northern-inspired themes, rendered in Sapergia’s expressive style to help create dynamic, community-driven public spaces in downtown Prince George. The launch also kicks-off Community Art Days at Canada Games Plaza, hosted by Two Rivers Art Gallery, with a creative weekend of art, workshops and hands-on activities ahead.

The $10-a-Day Lottery: PG parents face slim odds for subsidized child care

According to provincial data supplied to MyPGNow.com, there are between 17,000 and 18,000 operational $10-a-day childcare spaces in B.C. This accounts for 10 percent of all licensed childcare spots in the province, with the remaining 90% not part of the program.
