A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for the Prince George area.
Environment Canada says there are conditions that could produce large hail and heavy rain.
The main threat is heavy downpours of 10-15 mm of rain.
People are being asked to cover up any property and stay inside if you see lightning strikes.
