Annual Hospice Education Days are coming up next weekend, the Hospice Northern Collaborative is holding a “Strength in Coming Together” themed conference to mark the occasion.
The conference will be held in the House of Ancestors in Prince George on Friday and Saturday (May 10 and 11).
The two day event will include multiple sessions and workshops which aim to “offer a distinctive and enlightening experience tailored to address the diverse needs of our Northern community in relation to death and grieving.”
“We encourage all members of the community who are involved in caring for and supporting individuals nearing the end of life, as well as those navigating grief, to join us,” said Donna Flood Executive Director of Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society.. “This conference offers a unique opportunity to learn and share experiences of death and dying through a cultural lens, promoting a deeper understanding and more compassionate care.”
