Thunderbirds put a Bow on their victory

The Seattle Thunderbirds exploded with four unanswered goals in the third period to skunk the Prince George Cougars 4-0 before 2,362 fans at CN Centre.

Landon Bow stopped 26 shots for the shutout and Cavin Leth tallied the first two goals of the game, including the winner at 13 seconds of the third.

The Cougars were penalized three times for too many men on the ice, with the last one costing them a power play goal.

The teams split the doubleheader as P.G. won on Tuesday 6-2.
