Scott Russell of CBC will be the keynote speaker at the 2017 Fan the Flame Awards Banquet and Gala in Prince George.
It’s being hosted by PacifcSport of Northern BC on February 9th at the Prince George Civic Centre and will celebrate athletic achievement and contribution to sport in the region.
Spokesperson, Allan Bristowe says there will be no shortage of hardware to present.
“We have four different awards on each side, we have four Rising Star Awards which basically recognise exceptional athletic achievements in the past year both male and female and then also thanks to our Legacy Program with the Canada Winter Games we brought back four Difference Maker Awards.”
Last year’s gue4st speaker was Catriona Le May Doan.
