The Prince George Cougars continued to stockpile the prospects pool on Tuesday by signing Edge Lambert to a WHL agreement.
The Cougars selected Lambert in the seventh round (143rd overall) of the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft, and he has registered four goals and two assists in 29 games with the Notre Dame Argos of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA League.
Five members of the Cougars 2016 Bantam Draft class are now signed.
The others are goalie Taylor Gauthier, defencemen Cole Beamin and Jack Miche and forward Keegan Craik.
